Ardiana Bunjaku leads SCAAK since its establishment. She introduced a new concept of accountancy profession and education by making SCAAK a center of excellence for the private and public accounting professions, the General Audit Office, insolvency practitioners, internal auditors and financial forensic experts. She has put Kosovo in the map of global professional development, making SCAAK a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the European Federation of Accountants (EFAA) and the Federation of Mediterranean Country Accountants (FCM).
Always engaged in serving the public interest, she has served two mandates as a member and now is a technical advisor to the IFAC's Professional Development Organizations Committee, which is part of the working groups in the global donor-MOSAIC co-operation program, mentoring and development program of governance guides. Member of the Executive Board of FCM, Board Member of NLB Bank in Kosovo, Board Member of the Governors at the American Chamber of Commerce, she was also member of the Budget and Finance Advisory Committee of the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina and for several years is part of the World Bank's Financial Reporting, Auditing and Education Reform Program - EU-REPARIS.
During her career in professional development, Ardiana Bunjaku has been a member of several committees of Kosovo institutions overseeing key sectors that are relevant to Kosovo's economic development, including the Kosovo Strategic Development Commission, the National Framework Working Group of Kosovo Qualifications and Advisory Committee of the Tax Administration Authority. She was an initiator and part of the accounting and auditing program at the University of Prishtina, served as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee at the Kosovo Standards and Financial Reporting Board with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and for two mandates was a member of the Board of Governors at the American Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of American University in Kosovo. She holds the Ph.D degree in Economics and Management.
Ardiana Bunjaku is also engaged in philanthropic initiatives as a member of Rotary Club Prishtina and chairperson of the board of Action for Mothers and Children Charity Organization.
