The General Meeting of the Assembly 2019

On June 07, 2019, the General Meeting of the Assembly of the Society of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo (SCAAK) was held in Shëngjin, Albania.
At the opening of this meeting, the speech was held by representatives of the State Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo: Mr. Shyqyri Bytyqi - Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Fatmir Gashi - Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr. Besnik Osmani - Auditor General of Kosovo and Mr. Afrim Maloku - President of Kosovo Council for Financial Reporting.
The meeting continued with the presentation of Mrs. Ardiana Bunjaku, Executive Director of SCAAK, on the report of the activities of the Society during 2018, as well as the report of the audited financial statements for 2018 presented by Mr. Fahri Breznica- Treasurer.
The President of the Society Council, Mrs. Afërdita Gashi invited Deputy Director of SCAAK - Mr. Driton Pustina to present the Strategy for 2020 - 2024 and the Work Plan of the Society for 2020, while the Budget Project was presented by Mr. Fahri Breznica- Treasurer, and Mrs. Teuta Karameta – Head of Finance Department at SCAAK.
As the highest governing body of the Society, the Assembly composed of active members of SCAAK voted and approved by majority vote the activity report and the report of the audited financial statements for 2018, the strategy for 2020-2024, the work plan and budget for 2020.
This year, elections were also held for members of the Behavior and Discipline Committee for the period 2019-2022, where following the vote of the Assembly were selected the following candidates:
