SME Needs Reporting Requirements: Tracking the Right and Sustainable Development

SCAAK is attending a round table with members of the European Parliament, representatives of SMEs, experts and accounting and auditing professionals, which is organized by the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs (EFAA).

The purpose of the roundtable "SME Needs Reporting Requirements: Tracking the Right and Sustainable Development" is to gather policy makers and other stakeholders to discuss the next steps following the publication of the EFAA report, which presents the results of research on non-financial reporting requirements for SMEs in 14 European countries.

Participants are discussing whether SMEs need to report on non-financial issues such as their governance and environmental and social responsibility, as well as the reporting frameworks that can be used to report on these issues.
