THE ORDINARY MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF ACCOUNTANTS COUNCIL

The president of SCAAK Council Ms. Afërdita Çarkaxhiu Gashi, and the Executive Director of SCAAK, Ms. Ardiana Bunjaku attended the ordinary meeting of the International Federation of Accountants Council that was held in Sydney, Australia on Novmber 1, 2018. The following topics were discussed at the meeting:

• Reports from IFAC leadership and management including the implementation of strategic plan 2016-2018, the proposed IFAC strategy for 2019-2020, and the budget for 2019;
• Report from board subcommittees;
• Report from the Nominating Committee;
• Membership matters;
• International standard-setting in the public interest; and
• IFAC Programs.

The attendees were informed and were able to vote on the above reports after their presentation and discussion.
