2020-01-10 - 04:04

Tax Administration of Kosovo notifies you that the Annual Declaration and Payment Form for Personal Income Tax (PD) and the Annual Declaration and Payment Form for Corporate Income Tax (CD) are being modified, so by 31 January 2020, submission of these forms is not possible.

Modification/change to PD and CD forms shall be done mainly to:

  • Deductions for sponsorship in the field of sports, culture and youth;
  • Mandatory amount for payment;
  • Opportunity of submiting reimbursment claim;
  • Opportunity of using excess payments in advance installments for the following year, as well as in other outstanding liabilities;
  • Adding boxes such as: Bank Account, Bank Account Number and Account Holder.

Through the CD form, taxpayers who have sponsored in the field of sports, culture and youth by complying with the conditions provided in the Law on Sponsorship, shall have the opportunity to deduction of those sponsorships from the mandatory tax payment amount.

In addition, through these forms (PD and CD), taxpayers shall be able to claim reimbursment for excess payments during the year, or if they want, they may choose to leave the excess payment as advance payment over the year, in order to cover other outstanding liabilities towards TAK, or in advance payments for the following year.

So, when submitting the tax annual declaration and payment form, if the taxpayer fills out the “Reimbursement Claim” box, TAK shall accept such claim without the need of the taxpayer to submit any other special Reimbursement Claim; however, “Bank Account”, “Bank Account Number” and “Account Holder” boxes must also be filled on the form.

While, in the case when the taxpayer has paid more during the year through advance installments and does not fill out the “Reimbursement Claim” box, TAK shall consider that excess payments are to be used for advance installments for the following year, or to cover other outstanding liabilities towards TAK, which the taxpayer may have at that moment or may be incurred in the future.

Modified forms will be published on 31.01.2020 and all taxpayers from this date onwards may declare and make payments through these forms.
